Registration

  • Active Chapter Members pay $12 to attend monthly learning events. Cash or Check Payment will be collected upon arrival.
  • Active Chapter Members pay $12 to attend monthly events. There is a .50 online processing fee.
  • Chapter Members may use this option to register several Chapter Members at once. One Chapter Member must login to use this option and then declare the total number of additional members. We prefer that registration via this option be paid online. Please know that online payments are non-refundable. Registration is transferable if a member is unable to attend after registration is complete.
  • Attendees who are not Active Chapter Members pay $17 to attend monthly meetings. Cash or Check Payment will be collected upon arrival.

When was the last time your brainstorming session resulted in breakthrough ideas? Attend the February 15 ASTD meeting and learn three creative thinking tools designed to generate more ideas faster. Material presented is based on Dr. Edward de Bono’s Lateral Thinking® approach to improve the quality of our thinking. By enhancing our thinking, we improve our decision making, problem solving, teamwork, and ability to innovate.

Our presenter, Donna Pavlish, has been in banking for 33 years here in Billings. She is currently an Instructional Designer for First Interstate Bank and has designed and facilitated training courses for over 2,000 employees in Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. As a certified instructor she teaches courses on Leadership and Professional Development, as well as creative thinking.

Donna has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, majoring in Communication at Montana State University – Billings. She has been an active Big Sky ASTD Chapter member for over 20 years. Donna has served on numerous non-profit boards throughout Billings, and is currently the Program Director for the local St. Vincent de Paul board.
